In 2004, I graduated from Colorado State University with a master's degree in social work. Since then, I have worked in a variety of treatment settings, including inpatient psychiatry, mental health intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient clinics with individuals & groups. From this experience, I have developed a skill set that can apply to a variety of clinical needs.

My Approach

My approach is integrative, incorporating different evidence-based therapies to provide the most effective treatment for each client. I use these therapeutic techniques to assist clients with developing insight into themselves and their surroundings while increasing coping and life skills. A foundation in my process with clients is using a strengths perspective to empower them. Concurrently, I balance validating clients while challenging and leading them toward change and growth.

I am inclusive in my approach, continually seeking education and understanding of diversity, equity, cultural sensitivity, and at-risk populations. Whatever the demographic, symptomology, and circumstance, I consider each client as an individual with their own, unique obstacles and strengths to provide the most genuine, effective treatment possible.
